Acer TravelMate Timeline 8473 and 8573 Laptops with Sandy Bridge CPUs


Acer is announced two new TravelMate Timeline series laptops. They are the TravelMate Timeline8473 (14-inch) and 8573 (15.6-inch). This laptops are based on Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors, a magnesium-aluminum enclosure designed, and offering extended productivity thanks to more than 8 hours of battery life.

New Acer TravelMate Timeline 8573 and 8473 laptops are boasts second generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors, display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 750GB hard drive or 128GB SSD, Intel HD Graphics 3000 or Nvidia graphics card with NVIDIA Optimus technology.

The TravelMate Timeline 8573 and 8473 laptops are equipped with a DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive, a 1.3MB Acer Crystal Eye webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, optional 3G connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, one USB 3.0 port, HDMI and VGA video outputs, a fingerprint reader, a TPM module, multi-in-1 card reader, and Intel’s Wireless Display technology support.
Both models also ensure docking convenience thanks to the Acer ProDock featuring advanced I/O ports such as USB 3.0/2.0 ports, Display Port, DVI port, HDMI port, VGA port, and ergonomic design for secured and tangle-free cable management.
